Tite Kubo Confirms Final Bleach Arc to Start This Year

That’s right, after running in Shonen Jump for the last 11 years, Tite Kubo has confirmed that the next Bleach arc will be the last.

These past 3 weeks there have been no new chapters as Bleach was on a break, however, during this time there was instead a 3 part interview with Bleach Mangaka Tite Kubo. In the interviews he spoke of some of the details and events that will occur in the upcoming arc while also confirming it will be the last.

We all know Bleach has had one hell of a run and gained massive popularity and success, so few could imagine Kubo would have any intention of ending it anytime soon. While the series has had it’s ups and downs, I (as many others) am still disappointed to see it come to an end. However, some good news is that while Kubo confirmed the upcoming arc would be the last, he never said how long it would last, so Bleach could still continue on for another good few years yet.

For now, here are some of the things to come in the new arc:

Hitsugaya has finished his training and now has a completed Bankai

Unohana will get involved in an actual battle

Renji’s Bankai has a new form

Possible return of some of the Espada – Grimmjow and Nel being the two most likely

An enemy/enemies will leave a devastating impact on Soul Society the likes of which have never been seen before

The final arc will be based in an ice filled world that is neither in Karakura Town or Hueco Mundo.

*The final arc begins this week in the Manga, with the weekly chapters reviewed on this site*
