It was recently announced that Sakae Esuno’s manga Mirai Nikki will be getting a live-action television series adaption. Set to air on Fuji TV beginning this April, the show will feature actor Masaki Okada (Hana-Kimi, Otomen) as Arata Hoshino –a character who did not appear in Esuno’s original story.
The upcoming live-action series is set to air every Saturday at 11:00 p.m. According to sources, the show’s script will be written by Yuusuke Watanabe (Gantz, 20th Century Boys) and will narrate the story of an older college student –the overall plot, however, will remain the same.
